Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Volume SARL (“Butterpost”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Butterpost service, including our web portal, API, and MCP interface (together, the “Service”). Butterpost lets you and the applications or AI agents you authorize publish content to, and read analytics from, third-party social media platforms on your behalf.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your posts or your platform data for advertising or to train models.

3. Data obtained from social platforms

Information we obtain through a platform’s API (for example, LinkedIn) is used solely to provide the features you request and is handled in accordance with that platform’s developer terms and policies. We request only the permissions (scopes) needed to publish on your behalf and read the associated analytics. You can revoke Butterpost’s access at any time from the platform’s own settings and/or from your Butterpost dashboard.

4. Sharing and disclosure

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may disconnect a social account (which deletes its stored tokens), delete content, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hans-paul@studiovolume.fr. We will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, encrypted storage of platform tokens, scoped and revocable API keys, tenant isolation, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hans-paul@studiovolume.fr.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
